CARING FOR OUR CHILDREN FOUNDATION was founded to:

Give grants to select under-funded non-profits serving children who are victims of crime; to ask the community to voluntarily respond to a call-to-action such as sharing an important child safety message; to operate a thrift store, a work skills job training program, and to pass forward tangible goods where needed most.

A child's tears is what keeps us motivated…

Naturally, somewhere along life’s path, a child might become the victim of the school bully, sport a black eye from playground scuffles, or be traumatized by the cruel words of peers just because they are different from the “in” crowd. At those times, we hug them close, put an ice pack on the bruised eye, teach them to avoid revenge, and soothe their crushed emotions.

However, what do we do when a child becomes a victim of malicious crime. Crimes perpetrated against a child through battering, maltreatment, neglect, and even deadly school shootings—or by a sexual predator, an abductor, a pornography trafficker, and, yes, even by a murderer. Those serious crimes demand a serious response by society.

We, at CARING FOR OUR CHILDREN FOUNDATION, realize that protecting our innocent children should be the first priority of every caring adult. Sadly, there are those who have no regard for a child’s well being.

We know that the best way anyone can help is to be informed, and, after that, to become pro-active in helping these child-victims to lead a full and restored life…Because childhood isn’t always easy…
