The Mission was founded in 1941 by Burt McCausland, a local minister and businessman, to serve those who remained homeless due to the Depression. Through Christ-centered teaching, counseling, work therapy, social service assistance, and life skills programs, the Mission seeks to restore a person's dignity and self-respect and to return them to the mainstream of society. |
