CCFA is a non-profit, voluntary health organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Known collectively as inflammatory bowel diseases, these chronic digestive disorders affect up to one million Americans. CCFA was founded in 1967. It's mission is to cure and prevent Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.
