Petaluma Pet Pals is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We help Petaluma's pets and their people in several key ways: 1. We reduce the number of homeless animals in Petaluma through our spay neuter discount coupon program. 2. We help people in veterinary crises with one-time "veterinary helps" for those in need. 3. We enable the vulnerable to keep their pets by providing pet food to the elderly and the homeless. 4. We find homes for a limited number of dogs whose options have run out. 5. We are creating innovative solutions to long-standing animal welfare challenges (like pet overpopulation, feral cat situations, abandoned pets) through alliances with pet health care providers, government agencies, environmental groups and individual animal advocates. 6. We provide ongoing community educational. |
