The SPCA of Wake County is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to protecting animals. Our mission is to protect, shelter and promote adoption of unwanted animals, to provide education about responsible pet ownership and to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs. The SPCA of Wake County was established in 1967. We serve all of Wake County which includes 858 square miles with a people population of one-half million and a dog and cat population estimated at over 270,000. |
