In 1977, a group of concerned community members created the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center. The Center began to provide crisis intervention services to battered women and sexual assault victims in Yolo County and a 24-hour crisis hotline, individual counseling, and support groups. Our mission is to eliminate sexual assault and domestic violence through sensitive prevention, intervention, and treatment. |
