The Alzheimer’s Association – Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter Since 1980 the Alzheimer’s Association – Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter has served the southeastern Wisconsin area from their office in Milwaukee. They serve more than an estimated 50,000 people affected by Alzheimer’s in a diverse eleven county region.
The Alzheimer’s Association, Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter began when the wives of four persons affected by Alzheimer’s disease formed a support group for themselves and other families affected by Alzheimer’s and related disorders. Since that time the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter has grown to help thousands of families and caregivers coping with the effects of Alzheimer’s. As part of the Alzheimer’s Association they work to provide, care, support and education for those with Alzheimer’s and help fund research for a cure to achieve the vision of a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
