How Your Donation Helps
The Arc Oregon has been advocating for Oregonians with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1954. We strive to create an inclusive, independent, high-quality lifestyle for inidivudals and families.
The Arc Oregon envisions a world in which all persons have the support and opportunities they need for personal development and independence, interdependence with family and friends, and inclusion in the community.
The Arc Oregon, an affiliated state chapter of The Arc United States, has a rich history of improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families.
Through their partnership with the disability community in Oregon, many changes have been made through legislation and litigation.
Since their incorporation on August 24, 1954, they have actively advocated for changes in public opinion and legislative action, and have partnered with other organizations to further the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
