The
Child Abuse Prevention Council of Placer County is a
not-for-profit agency formed in 1988. It is governed by
volunteer community leaders and children's agency
professionals devoted to preventing and healing child
abuse in all its forms. What
we do: Advocate for the needs of Placer
County abused and neglected children. Educate
professionals and the community-at-large to recognize and
do something about child abuse. Create new
programs to prevent abuse and to help abused and neglected
children. Plan and coordinate existing
