House is a resource and counseling center for the poor
supported by fifteen churches and the community at large.
All to often, we provide the last hope for those
disenfranchised from the main stream of society. Anyone in
need is welcomed with a warm cup of coffee and a dose of
compassion. Our counseling is much like you would
experience with a friend who was having difficulties;
listen first, then help problem solve their dilemma. This
could include something as simple as a referral to a food
closet, providing a motel voucher or as complex as
advocacy for a client in the Welfare system. DONATE
