The mission of the National Autism Association is to respond to the most urgent needs of the autism community, providing real help and hope so that all affected can reach their full potential.
How Your Donation Helps
With greater autism numbers comes greater need for services. Unfortunately, most insurance plans do not cover autism services. NAA’s Helping Hand Program was developed as a financial aid tool for families that need it most. The program helps qualified families pay for medical and therapy services used to treat adults and children diagnosed with autism.
The National Autism Association’s safety programs encompass both FOUND and the Big Red Safety Box efforts which aim to decrease the number of wandering-related deaths and incidents among children with autism.
The National Autism Association’s Helping Hand Program provides families with financial assistance in getting necessary medical treatments/testing, supplements and behavioral therapy services for their child with autism.
Your donation will go a long way in supporting our programs and the critical needs of the 1 in 68 children affected today.
