is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 tax exempt charitable
organization providing quality services to Connecticut's
youth since 1970. Our mission is to join with others
to create the conditions in which each child in our care:
develops as a healthy, productive and caring person free
from harm or injury; participates fully in community life;
has the opportunity to exercise age-appropriate decision
making; receives services that are both responsive to his
individual and developmental needs and sensitive to this
heritage; receives the education, skills training and
experience that will prepare him to live independently as
a capable, competent and contributing adult member of
