Founded in 1868, the MSPCA-Angell protects and cares for 250,000 animals per year - more than any other humane society in the nation. We are a private, nonprofit, 501(c)[3] organization and receive no government funding at all, instead relying on the generosity of people who care deeply about helping animals. Our mission is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty and work for a just and compassionate society.
