Established in 1973, Whitman-Walker Clinic provides comprehensive compassionate services that address the many health care needs of the GLBT community, and serves as the largest provider of HIV/AIDS Services in the Washington metropolitan area. Whitman-Walker Clinic is a community-based organization with more that 1,600 volunteers who provide millions of dollars worth of services annually. With compassion and dedication, the staff and volunteers enable thousands of clients who turn to the Clinic each year to receive vital primary medical care and comprehensive support services.  Over the last several years, the demand placed upon Whitman-Walker has increased dramatically.
