MAKING SMILES HAPPEN! Childhood Leukemia Foundation is dedicated to educating, empowering, and lifting the spirits of children suffering with all types of cancer throughout the U.S.
Childhood Leukemia Foundation proudly promotes patient education, advocacy, self-esteem and most of all – smiles. All programs are free of charge, and available to any pediatric cancer patient living in the continental United States. Each program has been specifically designed to help meet the emotional and educational needs of these very special children. Our programs improve health literacy, increase self-esteem and empower cancer victims with hope. CLF believes that by working together, we can make a difference one child at a time.
How Your Donation Helps
More than 12,000 children are diagnosed with cancer in the US each year. While research remains critical to finding a cancer cure, pediatric oncologists and child life specialists helped the Childhood Leukemia Foundation identify a more immediate need to help children with cancer and their family members cope with the emotional devastation of the cancer diagnosis. Our mission is to lift the spirits and enhance the quality of life of children living with cancer and to do whatever we can to make their lives (and their smiles) a little brighter!
Supported by an ever-growing network of passionate and devoted donors and volunteers, The Childhood Leukemia Foundation helps ease the day-to-day struggles of children fighting cancer and the families that love them.
The Childhood Leukemia Foundation is a national non-profit organization that provides a myriad of services – totally free of charge – to children battling cancer and their families. The Childhood Leukemia Foundation works closely with social workers, care providers, families and loved ones to also provide meaningful information, dispensed in a practical manner befitting their challenging lifestyles. The goal is to help children and families living with cancer by assisting them in managing their care and improving the quality of their lives. The Childhood Leukemia Foundation seeks to simplify otherwise taxing responsibilities using programs that are designed to educate and entertain while undergoing treatment.
