Established in 1980, Hospice of San Joaquin is a non-profit organization providing medical, emotional, spiritual, and educational support to individuals and their families coping with grief or a life threatening illness. In the heart of Stockton across from University of Pacific, nestled beyond a new office building, is a new home. Hospice House, the first residential care home for hospice patients in San Joaquin County and one of only six in California, is the most recent and visible accomplishment of 23 years of community volunteer work with the dying. |
