Teen Challenge is an international Christian ministry that is dedicated to the transformation of teens, adults, and families with life-controlling problems, such as drug addiction, alcoholism, gang affiliation, victims of abuse, prostitution, etc. Sacramento Valley Teen Challenge oversees four residential centers for men, women, and children, besides an array of community outreaches. The documented success rate of Teen Challenge for freedom from drug addiction is 86% and is called the most successful program of its kind in the world today. SVTC is also one of the few organizations that are totally funded by the private sector, electing not to accept any government funding. Our next project is to open a long-term center for women with children in the Sacramento Valley area of California. |
