The
Cancer Fund of America mission differs greatly from many of the more
than 200 U.S. Charities that provide cancer-related
services because its principle mission is to provide aid
to the ill and needy rather than to conduct research.
As stated in our governing documents, CFA's overriding
purpose is outlined in the mission statement: "To provide support and services to financially indigent
patients; to disseminate information concerning the early
detection and prevention of cancer; to provide
commodities, and gifts-in-kind to hospices and other
health care providers; to procure and distribute donated
merchandise to various 501(c)3 nonprofit community
service organizations which aid the ill, needy, and
infants." DONATE
